This was the week we had a study about Paul Gaugain who was a French Post-Impressionist artist. Born 1848 – 1903. He spent ten years in French Polynesia completing many colorful paintings of the natives.
The kids enjoyed reproducing this one of his oranges. Sorry I only have a picture of the one Ava completed. She is very proficient painting with a knife. Click on the thumbnail to enlarge.
Nice job Ava. I’m envious of your knife skills. This looks like it would sell for thousands in a premier gallery.
